A settlement agreement was reached between the parties.
The settlement was approved by the Court on May 16, 2011.
However, due to the large number of class members involved and the fact that it would be costly and impractical to distribute a nominal amount, indemnities will not be paid to class members; the judge opted for compensation to be paid to the Coalition des associations de consommateurs du Québec.
